Hi, my name is Dr. Nisha Mahajan. I have lived around the world and am very excited to be back home and practicing in Calgary. My passions are traveling, cooking and CrossFit.
I studied at the State University of New York, Buffalo where I obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Post dental school I joined a General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. The focus of the program was caring for handicapped and medically compromised patients, oral surgery, and preventative care. With my understanding of the connection between oral health care and overall well-being, I strive to positively impact the lives of every patient I have the pleasure of treating.
Moving back home to Calgary and becoming a part of Ranchlands Dental Clinic has been rewarding for me. The clinic has opened many doors and opportunities for me. I enjoy discussing oral hygiene methods and step by step procedures with clients. I understand that many people have a dental phobia and it is my goal to make you feel comfortable and heard.
Giving back to the community and less fortunate is very important to me. I have traveled to the Dominican Republic for outreach and I look forward to traveling to Cambodia in 2017 to volunteer my time and skills. Through volunteer work, I am able to alleviate those in pain and help people in need of dental care. I hope to continue this throughout my career.
I enjoy getting to know my patients and forming life long relationships. Drop in or give us a call and we would be happy to help you.
